Getty Ambau

Getty Ambau was born in Ethiopia. He first came to the United States as a foreign exchange student, where he spent one year studying in a high school in Ohio. At the end of his stay, he returned to Ethiopia and enrolled at the now Addis Ababa University. A year later, he returned to the states to attend Yale University, where he majored in Molecular Bio Physics and Bio-chemistry and Economics. After he graduated, he worked as a research chemist, earned a graduate degree in business and ran his own companies, but above all, writing has always been his inner calling. Desta books

He has written books on health and nutrition, which have sold internationally. Now his focus is in writing novels. Desta: To Whom the Lions Bow is his third novel in a series.  Like Harry Potter or The Book Thief, the book is enjoyed by readers of all ages and walks of life.
